Terms of Service

These terms cover orders placed with Craft Onyx, operated by Samps Signs LLC, a North Carolina company, at craftonyx.com. By requesting a quote or placing an order, you agree to them. They’re short on purpose — read the whole thing.

Everything is made to order

We’re a custom fabrication studio. Unless an item is explicitly listed as ready-made stock, your order is produced specifically for you after you place it. That’s why proofs matter and why our return policy treats custom items differently from stock items.

Proof approval before production

Every custom order gets a digital proof. Production does not start until you approve it. Check spelling, dimensions, colors, and placement carefully — what you approve is what we make. One round of proof revisions is included with every order. Additional revision rounds may add cost or turnaround time, and we’ll tell you before either happens.

Your artwork, your responsibility

When you submit artwork, logos, or designs, you warrant that you own them or have the right to reproduce them. We rely on that. If a third party claims your submitted artwork infringes their rights, that responsibility is yours, not ours. We may decline jobs that appear to infringe someone else’s trademark or copyright.

Fan merchandise disclaimer

Fan-themed items we produce are not officially licensed by, endorsed by, or affiliated with any university, college, league, or team. They are custom goods made at the request of individual customers.

Quotes, pricing & payment

Quotes come from a real person within one business day and are honored as written. Payments are processed by Stripe. Production timelines start after proof approval, not at order placement — details on the Shipping & Returns page.

Limitation of liability

Our total liability for any order is limited to the purchase price of that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — lost profits, missed events, and the like. If we get it wrong, we remake it or refund it; that’s the remedy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
