What can I have engraved on the charcuterie board?
A family name with an established date is the classic, but we also carve monograms, wedding dates, a handwritten recipe, a short message, or a company logo — anything you can send as text or artwork. Personalization is free, and you approve a digital proof before we cut into the wood.
Is the board food-safe, and will the engraving wear off?
Yes and no, in the right order. Every board is finished with food-safe mineral oil and beeswax, so it’s ready to serve cheese, bread, and cured meats immediately. The engraving is carved into the wood itself — it can’t peel, fade, or wash off. Hand wash, dry upright, and re-oil occasionally and it lasts for decades.
How long does production take?
Every board is made to order in our Raleigh, NC studio. You approve a digital proof first, then most boards ship with tracking or are ready for free Raleigh pickup within 2–5 business days. Ordering for a wedding or a closing date? Tell us the date before you pay and we’ll confirm it works.
