Natural slate
The classic memorial stone. The portrait is laser-engraved into the surface in soft gray tones — quiet, weatherproof, at home in a garden.
Clear acrylic
A full-color UV-printed portrait with real depth — the brightest, truest likeness of the three. Best displayed indoors on a shelf or stand.
Solid hardwood
Warm grain behind an engraved portrait. The natural choice for a mantel, bookshelf, or anywhere their bed used to be.
Optional QR album
A small engraved QR code on the front or back links to an online album — one scan opens every photo and video you want to keep close.

What photo works best for a pet memorial plaque?
A clear, well-lit photo where your pet’s face fills most of the frame — a favorite phone picture is usually perfect. We adjust contrast for the material you choose and send a digital proof with the portrait, name, years, and any line of text before we make anything. Personalization is free, and we’re glad to help with wording.
Which material should I choose — slate, acrylic, or wood?
Slate is the classic memorial look and weathers well in a garden. Acrylic gives a bright, full-color UV-printed portrait for indoor display. Hardwood is warm and natural for a mantel or shelf. All three are permanent — the image is engraved or UV-printed into the surface, not a sticker — and we’ll recommend one if you tell us where it will live.
How long does production take?
Each plaque is made to order with care. Once you approve the proof, most plaques ship with tracking or are ready for free Raleigh pickup within 2–5 business days. If you have a memorial gathering coming up, tell us the date and we’ll confirm it works before you order.
