What can be marked on each asset tag?
A QR code pointing at your asset-management URL or encoding the asset ID, a human-readable serial, your logo, and a department or “Property of” line. Send a prefix and starting number and we generate the sequence, or hand us a CSV exported from your CMMS or inventory system and we mark the exact IDs you already use. Personalization and data setup are free, and you approve a proof of the first tag before the run starts.
Will the QR codes stay scannable in service?
Yes. The codes are fiber-laser marked into the anodized layer of the aluminum — not printed or stickered — so they shrug off solvents, UV, and the abrasion of daily handling that wipes out paper and polyester labels. For autoclaves, washdown areas, chemical exposure, or outdoor equipment, step up to the 304 stainless version and the mark outlives the machine it’s riveted to.
How long does a run of 50 tags take?
Every run is marked to order. You approve a digital proof of the layout and serial scheme, then most runs ship with tracking or are ready for free Raleigh pickup within 2–5 business days.
